Carlo Ancelotti has made a late change to Brazil’s squad for the FIFA window, calling up goalkeeper Hugo Souza to replace Alisson. According to Coluna Do Fla, the switch comes ahead of fixtures in the United States.

Alisson was withdrawn because of injury. Hugo Souza, formerly of Flamengo and now at Corinthians, joins Bento and Ederson among the goalkeepers.

Brazil face France on Thursday 26 March at 17:00 Brasília time in the United States, then play Croatia on 31 March in Orlando.

This is Ancelotti’s final call-up before the definitive World Cup list, with the tournament beginning in June.

Alex Sandro, Danilo and Léo Pereira are also included for these games.

Before the window, Flamengo visit Corinthians on Sunday 22 March at 20:30 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena.
