Andressa Alves ended a 20-match scoring drought for Corinthians on Monday, netting in a 4-0 win over América-MG at Neo Química Arena in the fourth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Her strike arrived on 38 minutes of the first half, with Corinthians already 2-0 up. Gabi Zanotti's cross reached the back post, and the midfielder capitalised on a mistake from goalkeeper Sandy to make it three.
According to Meu Timao, her previous goal came in August 2025, in a 2-2 draw with São Paulo at Canindé in the first leg of last season's Brasileirão semi-final.
In the intervening period she dealt with fitness issues and often operated deeper, at times as a defensive midfielder. Even so, she supplied six assists.
For Corinthians, she has 46 matches and 35 starts, with a team record of 27 wins, 14 draws and five defeats. Her tally stands at eight goals and twelve assists, producing 20 direct goal involvements, with an average fan rating of 5.67 from 2,655 votes. The side's points percentage in her games is 68.84 per cent.
Next up is the fifth round of the Brasileirão Feminino. Corinthians visit Botafogo at Nilton Santos on Friday at 19:00, seeking to build a winning run and close in on the leaders.
