Andrey Santos lifts the lid on “perfect” relationship with Estevao | OneFootball

Andrey Santos has opened up on his “perfect” relationship with Chelsea team-mate and teenage sensation Estevao Willian.

The duo are now both part of the Chelsea first team squad, and have both contributed already this season with their first goals for the club.

Estevao has been making headlines for his impressive performances, and is regarded as one of the best talents in world football.

The 18-year-old has already established himself as a fan favourite, and there’s a growing pressure for Estevao to start every game.

Enzo Maresca has already admitted he doesn’t find it difficult to tell Estevao he’s not playing, and the teenager has made more appearances than many likely would have expected.

Estevao has scored three goals in 14 appearances in all competitions and appears to be settling well into life at Chelsea.

It’s a certainly a huge help having fellow Brazilians Santos and Joao Pedro to help him, and Santos has opened up on his relationship with the youngster.

“I speak French, English, Portuguese and Spanish too,” he told his pre-match press conference.

“It’s important to help Estevao, sometimes I have to translate something for him.

“I arrived here young, like Estevao. I know how difficult it is to be here in the Premier League if you’re 18 years old.

“We are always together in the training ground and on the outside too. Our relationship is perfect, because we always go to the national team together.

“We do a lot of things together. It’s important to go on the pitch with these relationships.”

Chelsea have South American feel to them

Santos and Estevao aren’t the only Brazilian players making a positive impact at Chelsea, with Joao Pedro also contributing.
