Angers keeping tabs on Montpellier’s Téji Savanier | OneFootball

SCO Angers are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation regarding Téji Savanier (34), according to information from Mohamed Toubache-Ter.

With his contract with Montpellier HSC set to expire in the coming days, the attacking midfielder – who has made 200 Ligue 1 appearances – remains highly sought-after on the transfer market. Indeed, in addition to SCO, several Ligue 2 and foreign clubs are reportedly ready to offer a contract to the former French Under-23 international.

Starting in 19 of the 29 matches he played during the 2025-26 season, Savanier proved decisive on 10 occasions across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing four assists.

Should he leave MHSC, Savanier would be turning the page on one of the most significant chapters of his career. Having come through the club’s youth system, he returned there in the summer of 2019 after four seasons with Nîmes Olympique, and has since made 210 appearances, found the net 50 times and delivered 38 assists.
