Milan claim second place with 35 points from 16 matches. A Christian Pulisic goal and a brace from Christopher Nkunku handed them a 3-0 win at home against Hellas Verona on Sunday afternoon.

Roma and Genoa were the final teams involved in Serie A action in 2025. The Giallorossi picked up a 3-1 victory on Daniele De Rossi’s Olimpico homecoming thanks to goals from Matias Soule, Manu Kone, Evan Ferguson and a late consolation from Jeff Ekhator. They move up into fourth place in the Serie A standings with 33 points from 17 matches.

As things stand, Juventus are one point and one position outside of the guaranteed Champions League spots. Goals from Pierre Kalulu and Kenan Yildiz gave them a 2-0 win against Pisa on Saturday, and they now have an encouraging set of fixtures against Lecce, Sassuolo, Cremonese and Cagliari coming up over the next fortnight.

For comparison, the top five in the Premier League and LaLiga are both separated by 13 points at the end of the calendar year. 14 points separate the top five in the Bundesliga after 15 games, and 10 points separate the top five in Ligue 1.
