The Premier League confirmed that Anthony Taylor will take charge of West Ham vs Leeds United at the London Stadium on Sunday, the final day of the season.

Leeds round off an impressive campaign back in the top flight. Daniel Farke's side have been safe for almost two weeks and are unbeaten in eight after last weekend's 1-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion.

West Ham arrive on a run of three straight defeats and sit 18th, two points behind Tottenham Hotspur with a far inferior goal difference. They need a near-miracle to climb above their London rivals and avoid the drop.

The Manchester-born official has overseen 30 Premier League matches this season, averaging 20.33 fouls and 3.97 yellow cards per game. Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will run the lines, Steve Martin is fourth official and John Brooks is on VAR.

He has already overseen three Leeds matches, an FA Cup win over Derby County, September's 3-1 win at Wolves and December's 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

In that six-goal draw, a recommended review changed an initial corner to a penalty after Ibrahima Konate caught Willy Gnonto. Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored, Anton Stach soon levelled, Dominik Szoboszlai made it 3-2, then Ao Tanaka equalised in added time.

Leeds are safe but could still shape the relegation battle. West Ham must beat Farke's side and hope Tottenham lose to Everton to survive.
