"If we reach the Champions League, I would like to convince Jürgen Klopp to come and coach our team," said Antoine Arnault, Paris FC’s majority shareholder.

"It will not be in the short term, because he does not want to return to a bench quickly, but maybe in three, four, five years," he said on RMC’s L’After Foot on Tuesday.

The former Liverpool manager is now Red Bull’s director of football. Red Bull holds a 10.6% minority stake in the Paris club.

Promoted to Ligue 1 last season, Paris FC finished 11th under Antoine Kombouaré, who arrived in late February to replace Stéphane Gilli and secure survival. They closed with a 2-1 win over PSG on Sunday.
