Atletico Madrid star strikes twice to seal 3-1 win over Levante

Antoine Griezmann breaks La Liga record with goal just 28 seconds after coming on!
Atletico Madrid extended their winning streak to four consecutive match in all competitions defeating Levante 3-1 on Saturday in matchweek 12 of La Liga 2025 /26.
The victory lifted Los Rojiblancos to 25 point drawing level with Barcelona — who visit Celta Vigo on Sunday — but behind only on goal difference.
Real Madrid remain top of the table, five point clear ahead of their clash with Rayo Vallecano.
The visitors took early lead when Adrian de la Fuente inadvertently turned the ball into his own net in the 12 minute handing Atletico 1-0 advantage.
However Manuel Sanchez equalised for Levante just 9 minute later (21) capitalising on brief lapse in the Madrid defence.
Introduced as second-half substitute, Antoine Griezmann completely changed the momentum of the match. The French forward struck twice — first in the 61 minute and again in the 80 — to seal the three point for Diego Simeone’s men.
Griezmann’s opener arrived just 28 second after coming on making him the fastest substitute to score in La Liga since Borja Mayoral found the net after 26 second for Getafe against Girona in 2015.
