Antonio Conte hints at Napoli’s interest in Lukaku | OneFootball

Newly appointed Napoli manager Antonio Conte was asked about Romelu Lukaku today.

During his presentation in Naples, Conte spoke to the media about various topics ahead of the new season.

One of these topics was related to Romelu Lukaku – a player Conte admires since their days at Inter.

Recent rumors linked Lukaku with a move to Napoli as his spell at Roma is bound to come to an end on June 30th.

With Victor Osimhen predicted to leave Napoli in the coming weeks, Big Rom became the trending name on Napoli’s shortlist.

Conte addressed the rumors today:

“We’re talking about a lad and a strong footballer. Someone like Osimhen, an excellent footballer,” said Conte.

“There’s no comment to be made, you just have to admire such players when they play and hope to always have them on your side and never against you in the game.”
