Onda Cero reports that an alleged Real Madrid dressing-room row ended with Antonio Rudiger slapping Álvaro Carreras, the former Benfica full-back.
The incident was said to have taken place in the week after Bayern Munich, between the Alavés match, which was Carreras’s last start for Madrid, and the game against Real Betis.
The report framed it as a slap in the heat of a discussion rather than an assault, adding that there had been previous disagreements and that tensions were high with results not at their best.
Earlier, on four April in LaLiga matchday 30, Madrid lost away to Mallorca at Son Moix. DAZN footage showed Rudiger remonstrating with Carreras, telling him a defender needed to be tighter.
Taken together, these moments point to friction between the pair within a high-pressure environment.
