Lautaro Martinez heads into Inter’s trip to Cremonese with more than just three points on the line. The Argentine striker is closing in on a major personal milestone in Nerazzurri history.
With 127 Serie A goals, Lautaro now sits just one strike away from drawing level with Alessandro Altobelli in fourth place among Inter’s all-time league scorers.
Reaching that mark would further cement his place among the club’s modern greats.

Cremonese could prove the ideal opponent.
Lautaro has an excellent record against the Lombardy side, scoring four goals in three Serie A meetings and finding the net every time he has faced them.
Few fixtures suit him better statistically, as noted by FCInterNews.
His all-round scoring ability has also stood out this season.
In the current Serie A campaign, he is the only player to have scored more than once with his head, left foot and right foot, a sign of his complete attacking repertoire.
As Inter push through a crucial phase of the season, Lautaro’s consistency in front of goal remains central to their ambitions.
Another goal on Sunday would not just help the team, it would write another line into the club’s history books.
