Arne Slot is set to continue as Liverpool's manager in summer with Champions League football close to being secured.
Despite being the defending champions, the Reds suffered a terrible start to the season and have been some way off last season's vintage.
Indeed, Liverpool have lost 10 Premier League games so far this season which is the most since the 2015/16 season which began with Brendan Rodgers and ended with Slot's predecessor, Jürgen Klopp in charge.
However, with Liverpool on course for a top-five finish in the league which would secure them Champions League football they are happy for Slot to continue in his role according to Sky Sports.
Slot will have a big job this summer though with Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah Salah two key players who will need to be replaced. The coach will also be looking to get his expensive frontline firing, not helped by the long-term injury to Hugo Ekitiké that will likely mean he is on the sidelines until 2027.
Since taking over at Anfield, Slot has overseen 108 games, winning 65, drawing 17, and losing 26 in all competitions – with 17 of those defeats coming this season.
