Arsenal beat Corinthians 3-2 in the Fifa Copa das Campeãs final, and the broadcast set a landmark for women’s club football on YouTube.

The match was shown on CazéTV for viewers in Brazil only. According to Meu Timao, it became the first women’s club stream on the platform to exceed one million concurrent devices.

It was CazéTV’s most watched programme on Sunday, ahead of Palmeiras v Botafogo-SP and several European fixtures. The final registered eight point two million accumulated views, with Botafogo-SP v Palmeiras on five point six million.

For comparison, the NWSL final in 2025 between Gotham FC and Washington Spirit drew 900,000 accumulated views on the league’s site, a national record in the United States.

Corinthians are no strangers to big audiences. In 2024 they set a South American attendance record for the women’s game, drawing 44,529 to Neo Química Arena for the Brasileirão Feminino final.

Attention now turns to 2026. Corinthians visit Palmeiras at 16:00 on Saturday in the Supercopa Feminina do Brasil final at Arena Barueri.
