Manchester City’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures with Arsenal and Liverpool have been rescheduled for live TV coverage in the United Kingdom.
Andrée Jeglertz’s side will now welcome the Gunners to the Joie Stadium on Saturday 4 October, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 (UK).
And although our trip to Anfield will remain on Sunday 12 October, the start time has altered to 16:45 (UK).
Both fixtures can be watched live in the UK on Sky Sports, with further information on global TV listings available in the coming days.
Last season, the Blues recorded a 2-2 draw away at Arsenal before narrowly losing the reverse fixture at home 4-3.
On that occasion, a Mary Fowler double and Vivianne Miedema’s strike unfortunately weren’t enough to help us to three points the last time we hosted Renee Slegers’ side at home.
However, across 2024/25, we collected home and away WSL wins over Liverpool which included a dramatic 2-1 win with Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scoring the winner deep into stoppage time after she had already equalised.
In the reverse fixture, we then delivered a superb display to record a 4-0 victory at the Joie with the Jamaican’s brace and goals from Jill Roord and Gracie Prior helping us to the triumph.
Tickets for all of our WSL home matches in 2025/26 are now on sale, but stay close to mancity.com and our official app for information about our trip to Merseyside.
