Arsenal centre-back William Saliba and attacker Leandro Trossard are in the matchday squad to face Chelsea tonight.

Saliba and Trossard both missed out against Portsmouth on Sunday, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta claimed on Tuesday that they may not be available.

However, it appears the Spaniard was keeping his cards close to his chest as he has often done when it comes to the fitness of his players.

Both players are available to take on the Blues in a huge boost for the Gunners.

Arsenal are looking to book a place in the League Cup final and will be eager to secure a positive result ahead of the return leg at the Emirates Stadium on February 3.

The Gunners return to Premier League action on Saturday when they visit Nottingham Forest before resuming Champions League football with a trip to Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Arsenal need their top players available after several injury blows all season, and having two of their key players returning tonight will delight Arteta and the fans.

They have been on an impressive run in recent games, with eight wins and a draw in their last nine outings. Arsenal will look to maintain their good form tonight.
