Paris Saint-Germain are changing their approach, moving away from signing high-profile stars under sporting advisor Luis Campos. However, growing interest from other clubs could put PSG’s hold on Campos at risk.
Over his three years in Paris, Campos has been instrumental in bringing in promising talents like Vitinha, Bradley Barcola, and João Neves. Before PSG, he enjoyed success with AS Monaco and LOSC Lille.
Despite his achievements, Campos has yet to sign a contract extension with PSG, leading to speculation that other clubs might pursue him.
Recently, his name has been linked to Arsenal as a potential replacement for Edu, and now another Premier League club has joined the conversation.

Football Transfers reports that Chelsea, Arsenal, and Saudi Arabia are pushing to hire Campos, whose three-year contract as Football Advisor to PSG expires at the end of the season.
The report says Mikel Arteta’s interest in Campos is driven by his belief that Campos’ expertise in recruitment, squad building, and organization can help turn Arsenal from Premier League title contenders into champions.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s majority owner, Clearlake Capital, reportedly held two meetings with Campos to discuss the possibility of him becoming head of football for its growing multi-club portfolio, which is set to extend beyond Ligue 1’s RC Strasbourg.
Lastly, Saudi Arabia’s government has also tasked Campos with building a national team that could achieve unprecedented success at the 2034 World Cup.
The ambitious plan includes creating an elite youth academy and developing a group of young Saudi talents to compete as a club side in the Saudi Pro League ahead of the World Cup Finals. The offer is reportedly worth €200 million over 10 years.
