Arsenal defender Wubben-Moy signs new deal

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.
The 26-year-old England international centre-back is in her second spell with Arsenal. Wubben-Moy spent her youth with the North Londoners before moving to the United States to combine playing football with her studies at the University of North Carolina. After turning out for the North Carolina Tar Heels, Wubben-Moy returned to Arsenal in 2020 and she has cemented her place in the team.
To date, Wubben-Moy has made 143 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions in which she has scored 10 goals. She has won three Subway Women’s League Cups and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup with The Gunners.
After signing on again at the Emirates Stadium, Wubben-Moy said “I feel a huge amount of pride, excitement and optimism to once again put pen to paper at this special football club. Arsenal is the club I want to win with and I feel this new contract comes at a time in my career where my ambitions are matched by my abilities on the pitch. I’m determined to make this next chapter count.”
Wubben-Moy is currently recovering from injury and will be hoping to return to action in the coming weeks.
