Despite two late goals and a scare, the hosts cling on to their slender lead and all three points. Very nearly a monumental comeback from the visitors!

David Luiz was almost in dreamland there, but his header was pushed away by the goalkeeper, I'd fancy Pafos to get a second before the night's out.

Yesterday's early Champions League games were, to be frank, a bit dull. Both of these matches have been superb so far!

It's all happening tonight with Monaco now leading for the second time thanks to Balogun's finish from inside the area. There was a brief VAR check for offside but it's been given!

The deadlock has been broken in the Danish capital with Dadson tapping in from close range after great work down the left-hand side.

You'll forgive us for the sparse reports from Copenhagen but it really has been like a basketball game in the other match.

David Luiz has rolled back the years with that header! It's a great run to get ahead of his marker and then a brilliantly powerful effort into the top corner.

It's been breathless in Pafos with the home side now pushing for that equaliser. They have a free kick out wide on the right but the ball somehow goes all the way through both Monaco's defence and their own attack.

Up the other end, Pafos almost netted an equaliser but Anderson's shot from the edge of the area came back off the upright. This has been a breathless start in Cyprus.

Monaco have been sensational so far and have netted inside five minutes thanks to Minamino's superb finish from eight yards.

A great start for Copenhagen as well but they can't get on the end of a teasing cross from the right. It's all going off in these early matches!

Monaco have flown out of the blocks here and almost scored inside two minutes. Teze's cross wasn't cleared properly and then Akliouche's shot was saved well. A great start for the French side.

First up though we have two games that might not look too intriguing on paper but could throw up a fair few goals. There's Monaco who are taking on Cypriot surprise package Pafos, and we also have Kairat and their trip to Copenhagen.

This is going to be a brilliant night of European action with some of Europe's biggest clubs going head-to-head later on. We've got Arsenal v Bayern, Atleti v Inter and PSG v Tottenham all in the offing.
