Arsenal are said to be monitoring Bayer Leverkusen youngster Christian Kofane.

Sky in Germany are reporting that the Gunners are keen on the striker, who impressed against Mikel Arteta’s side in their Champions League round of 16 tie.

The 19-year-old has scored seven goals in all competitions this season, and is also reportedly attracting the interest of other top English clubs and Real Madrid.

Leverkusen will reportedly demand between £52.3m and £61m (€60-€70m) this summer for the Cameroon international.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say Manchester City are leading the race to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson this summer, ahead of rivals Manchester United.

Anderson is believed to be attracting interest from a host of top clubs this summer following an impressive season for Nottingham Forest.

But the Sun say Manchester United have been boosted in their pursuit of another midfielder, with Newcastle United believed to be willing to sell Sandro Tonali for the right price.

Elsewhere, La Gazzetta dello Sport say Liverpool are keen on Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who will leave the club this summer.
