Much of the talk from Arsenal’s training session on Monday surrounded the inclusion of former Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in training with the Arsenal u21s, but eagle-eyed fans might also have spotted Daniel Oyetunde taking part.
Oyetunde can be seen briefly in footage of the session shared online, despite going out on loan to St. Albans City last week.
The striker has already made his debut for his loan club, but it seems he’ll return to Arsenal for training at least some of the time during the week.

This isn’t unusual, as non-league clubs don’t always have as many training sessions during the week.
St. Albans play in the seventh tier of the English footballing pyramid, and many of the players in those lower leagues will only be semi-professional. As a result, second jobs will fill their time most weekdays.
But Oyetunde is on a professional contract at Arsenal, and should have more time for training. When St. Albans can’t provide sessions, his parent club can welcome him back.

It helps that St. Albans’ home ground Clarence Park is less than a 15-minute drive away from Arsenal’s London Colney training pitches. It’s easy enough for Oyetunde to get back and forth between the two clubs.
Oyetunde is on an “initial” loan with St. Albans until the end of November, with the implication that it could potentially be extended beyond that if things go well.
