Denzel Dumfries was on cloud nine after Inter Milan spectacularly beat Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.
Speaking to CBS Sports Golazo via FCInterNews, the Dutchman admitted he doesn’t care who will be on the opposite end in the final.
Despite only recently returning from injury, Denzel Dumfries was a difference-maker in this epic semi-final.
Indeed, he picked up where he left off at Montjuic with another sublime performance at San Siro last night.
Two assists to help Inter to a memorable 4-3 win made him among the standout performers in a high-octane affair.
As a result, the 29-year-old will contest his second Champions League final in three years with the Nerazzurri.
While Manchester City got the better of Inter in 2023, there’s a feeling the outcome will be different this year.
Like in 2010, Inter got past Barcelona in the semi-final and will now meet either Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Dumfries only cares about last night’s victory and refuses to lose sleep over the other semi-final.

Inter went to great lengths last night, overcoming a late deficit to secure a 7-6 aggregate win.
Meanwhile, Yann Sommer won the ‘Man of the Match’ award for a world-class performance between the sticks.
“We’re overjoyed and I’m proud of everyone, especially Marcus [Thuram],” Dumfries said after the match. “Yann [Sommer] was amazing as well.
“We’re truly proud.”
Elsewhere, Arsenal and PSG will battle it out for a place in the final.
“PSG or Arsenal? Both are great teams, we’ll see, but the most important thing is we won this match.” Dumfries continued.
“Tired? Yes, to be honest, I was really tired. I’ve just come back from a long injury, jumping straight into games like this is tough.
“However, I’m happy I managed it.
“Thirteen goals in two matches, it’s spectacular for the fans and football lovers.
“This is a show, and I’m really happy we made the final. How will we celebrate? We definitely won’t be going to bed early.”
