Speculation around Arda Guler’s future continues to grow, and a fresh report has added significant weight to the idea that the Turkish starlet is on Arsenal’s radar.
According to a recent revelation from Fichajes, Arsenal are showing intense interest in signing Guler, so much so that the North London club is even preparing a formal proposal worth around €80 million for the Turk.
Arsenal see Guler as a player capable of transforming their attacking structure. The Premier League club believes the Turkish international has the quality to add the needed creativity and unpredictability in the final third.
To make the deal more appealing, Arsenal are reportedly considering an aggressive financial strategy.
One of the ideas being explored is a loan move with an obligation to buy, a formula they believe could open the door to negotiations.
They are convinced that a structured deal of this nature, combined with a substantial overall fee, could test Real Madrid’s stance.

Mikel Arteta is said to be a strong admirer of Guler’s profile. The Spaniard views the young midfielder as a perfect fit for his possession-based system, one built on quick combinations and intelligent movement.
However, the situation at Real Madrid paints a very different picture, as Xabi Alonso has complete faith in Guler and sees him as an essential part of his long-term project.
Importantly, Real Madrid are under no financial pressure to sell.
This is because Guler is protected by a contract that runs until the summer of 2029, giving the club total control over his future.
Internally, he is viewed as one of the pillars of the next generation, and any attempt to prise him away would require far more than just an attractive offer.
