Ruben Amorim and Mikel Arteta have both had positive news as Premier League clubs remain active in this summer’s transfer window.

Manchester United have finally agreed a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. The Athletic report that a £70 million deal has been agreed for the Cameroonian who scored 20 Premier League goals last season.

This move further opens the door for Rasmus Hojlund’s exit from the club. This misfiring striker was already up for sale and has attracted interest from a number of Serie A clubs. Di Marzio reports that AC Milan are the latest side to enquire about the striker. The Dane will be allowed to leave for little more than half of the £72 million fee that United spent on him two years ago.

Elsewhere, Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Noni Madueke from London rivals Chelsea. The 23-year-old has arrived at the Emirates in a deal worth £52 million and has signed a five-year deal.

There has been more good news for Arteta’s side as Ethan Nwaneri has extended his contract. Rumours had begun that he could look for a move away, but the 18-year-old has penned a new five-year deal.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have been pushing for a reunion with Xavi Simons. The 22-year-old has impressed for PSG, PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig in recent seasons. Currently with Leipzig, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich also have an interest in the Spaniard. However, Bild report that Simons would prefer a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea named as a potential destination.

Jack Grealish’s future remains unclear, as Manchester City look to offload the English international. Talksport report that West Ham are the latest Premier League side to register an interest in the attacker. However the 29-year-old’s wages remain a sticking point in any potential deal.

Another star could leave Pep Guardiola’s squad this summer. L’Equipe say that Galatasaray have submitted a €3 million bid for Ederson. The Brazilian is entering the last year of his contract and has regularly been linked with moves away from the Etihad.
