Reporting via his social media profiles, Lukasz Baczek reports that Arsenal are due to receive around £10m from primary sponsors Emirates and Adidas for winning the Premier League and reaching the final of the Champions League.
The Gunners would have earned even more by winning the latter competition, as the two brands would have had to pay another €10m (£8.6m) each.
But at least winning the Premier League and reaching the final has earned the club a decent bonus ahead of the summer transfer window.
Baczek adds that Arsenal’s agreement with Visit Rwanda also included a trophy bonus, so the Gunners will profit from that as well. The Visit Rwanda sleeve sponsorship deal has now expired, but not too soon to activate that last clause.
Arsenal have already made plenty of money in prize money for their exploits this season. The club will receive more than ever before for their European campaign, given the recent increases in prize money and the fact they reached the final.
Champions League prize money depends on results as well as progression, so the fact Arsenal won eight out of eight League Phase games and many of the knockout games really drove up their earnings.

Then the Gunners will obviously receive the most money of the Premier League teams, having won the competition.
There’s no results-based bonus in that case, just more money per league position and based on how often your team was selected for TV broadcasts. Arsenal obviously excel in both categories.
All this to say, there should be no obvious financial restriction on Mikel Arteta’s side in the summer transfer market.
