The Gunners are out to secure a place in the knockout stages
Tashan Deniran-Alleyne|Simon Collings @sr_collings5 minutes ago
Arsenal are back in Champions League action tonight as they host Dinamo Zagreb. Having amassed 13 points from their opening six games, the Gunners can qualify for the knockout round with victory at the Emirates Stadium. In fact, a win could be enough to secure a bye to the last-16 stage but that depends on results elsewhere.
Following last night's results, Arsenal currently sit fifth in a 36-team table and can move three points clear of teams such as Bayer Leverkusen, Aston Villa and Lille by beating the Croatian outfit. Mikel Arteta's side may be misfiring domestically at the moment, but few would bet against them getting the job done tonight.
Zagreb, now managed by Italy legend Fabio Cannavaro, have had an interesting Champions League campaign thus far. Despite a 9-2 hammering by Bayern Munich on matchday one, they will have a chance to qualify for the knockout stage regardless of what happens in north London.
