Arsenal are keen on signing Red Star Belgrade attacking midfielder Vasilije Kostov, according to the Sun.
Manager Mikel Arteta is open to strengthening his squad at the Emirates Stadium, and the 17-year-old is on his radar.
Kostov has been rated as the best under-18 midfielder in the world by the International Centre for Sports Studies, based on his performances over the last six months.
They will face competition from Bayern Munich and Barcelona for the teenage sensation.
He made his first-team debut for the Serbian SuperLiga club last April, but has since established himself as a constant presence in the team.
The Arsenal target has caught the eye of suitors with his performances in the Europa League for Red Star.
He has weighed in with six goals and five assists in 23 games across all competitions.
Kostov made his debut for Serbia against Albania last November and has been tipped to become a top player.
Arsenal will have to settle for a summer deal as Red Star do not plan to sell Kostov. He does not turn 18 until May, and around £17 million could be enough to sign him.
While he primarily features on the right of midfield in a 4-4-2 set-up at Red Star, the Serbian has what it takes to play behind the striker due to his technical abilities and passing skills.
He also has a keen eye for spectacular goals, bagging a stunner with his half-volley in the 2-1 defeat to Porto last October.
