Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that one Chelsea player is now set to stay at Stamford Bridge this window despite being up for sale.

It seems that there weren’t many players that Chelsea would not have at least listened to offers for this window, but some of these players also want to depart too in order to get more regular first team football.

Sources: Chelsea plan to look at goalkeeper setup ‘from top to bottom’ this summer + new CB targets NAMED!!

Attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku is a player who wants to be playing more and clearly wants out, but he might now be forced to stay at the club at least until the summer.

But before that, as we hit transfer deadline day this winter, it’s been really bland for Chelsea after being promised a busy end to the week. I guess in terms of outgoings, there are a few things still going on though.

But there really isn’t much to report right now. We did get the ‘here we go’ last night for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka to join Dortmund on loan until the end of this season. And left back Ben Chilwell will be taking his medical to join Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season today as well.

Nkunku now set to stay

After being linked with a move away all window and the player clearly wanting out, it looks like Chelsea are out=pricing his departure this month.

Romano reports that as of now, Nkunku is STAYING. at Chelsea He does not want a loan move and Chelsea want £60m+ to sell him outright.

With no club going to be paying that for a player who does not even start for Chelsea and a player that Chelsea didn’t even pay that much to buy, Nkunku is now going to be staying at a club he does not want to be at. What could possibly go wrong?
