Paris Saint-Germain’s recent performances against Liverpool and Aston Villa may boost the club’s appeal to English players, especially as more Premier League talent looks to play abroad.
Back in January, CaughtOffside reported that PSG was monitoring Morgan Rogers. The outlet reports that his performances against Manchester City, Newcastle, and Brighton impress club scouts.
Rogers’ quick feet, speed, and creativity reportedly caught PSG’s attention. That said, Aston Villa have made it clear they have no plans to let the winger go.
According to a previous report from The Independent, Chelsea have identified Morgan Rogers as a summer target. The 22-year-old has had a breakout season in the Premier League, and the suitors are circling for a move.
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is eager to keep Rogers, but the club could be forced to consider a substantial offer due to profit and sustainability rule concerns. Rogers is under contract at Villa Park until June 2030.

On Tuesday, Football Insider reported, citing sources, that Aston Villa will do everything in their power to keep star player Rogers amid growing interest from Chelsea. The 22-year-old has impressed Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester City with his performances at Villa.
Unai Emery is determined to keep Rogers, but Villa recognize they may have to accept offers that are simply too good to refuse. Moreover, interested clubs must pay a hefty price to sign the attacking midfielder, who is happy at Villa.
Fichajes previously reported that new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim views Rogers as a key addition. The club are willing to do whatever it takes to bring him to Old Trafford. United has already made a substantial €80 million offer, hoping to finalize the deal before the summer transfer window closes.
It remains to be seen whether Aston Villa can hold onto their star player this summer, or if an irresistible offer will force their hand.
