Aston Villa value Arsenal target Morgan Rogers at a British record £130 million, according to The Telegraph.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta wants the Villa star to swap the Midlands club for Arsenal this summer as the Emirates Stadium club prepare for next season.
However, a deal could prove tricky as the Villans want at least £130m if they should ever consider selling the England international to the North London club.
The Gunners will face competition from Chelsea for Rogers, but Unai Emery is unwilling to lose Rogers.
Suitors will have to break the bank to sign the 23-year-old, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal have plans to splash the cash on another forward.
Manchester City have agreed a £116m deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, and Villa believe their attacker is more valuable.
Liverpool striker Alexander Isak currently holds the British record for the most expensive signing after the Reds paid Newcastle United £125m for the services of the Swede last summer.
Rogers ended last season with 14 goals and 12 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions, helping Villa to win the Europa League.
He is one of the best attackers in the Premier League but he is not worth £130m and the Gunners are unlikely to meet Villa’s demands.
The Premier League champions want to strengthen in midfield and defence too as they look to win the title again next season and go one better in the Champions League after losing last season’s final to Paris Saint-Germain.
