Sunderland resume their Premier League campaign at Villa Park on Sunday, as they look to maintain recent momentum, according to Sunderland Echo.
Villa are fourth in the Premier League and booked a Europa League semi-final spot this week. Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is available, having missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest with a minor injury before returning for Thursday's second-leg win over Bologna.
Tyrone Mings is also available, the defender rejoined the squad on Thursday night after a minor injury.
For Sunderland, Dan Ballard is available after resuming full training this week. He missed the last two games with a hamstring problem and will not be rushed, so is likely to return on the bench.
Nilson Angulo is out, Sunday's game comes too soon. He is making good progress and could be available to face Nottingham Forest next weekend, though the trip to Wolves is probably a more realistic return date.
Both Régis Le Bris and Unai Emery have significant decisions to make as they finalise their line-ups.
