“As of today, we have no official offers, only potential expressions of interest,” Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi said of Ederson’s possible summer move.

“Until the season comes to an end, it’s difficult for clubs to make moves. We will evaluate everything with great composure and calm at the appropriate time,” he told Sky Sport.

The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

Ederson, 26, is in his fourth season at Atalanta. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions this season, and his contract at the Gewiss Stadium expires in June 2027.

“Giuntoli is one of the best directors in Italian football who has gained experience in the lower leagues,” Percassi said.

“We’ll see what happens. I’m aware that many clubs have contacted Giuntoli; we’ll see if it’s a marriage we’ll make.”

Atalanta won 3-2 at Milan on Sunday and are seventh in Serie A.
