Athletico Paranaense beat Internacional 2-0 in the Brasileirão at the Estádio Mário Celso Petraglia, staying third as Inter slip to 15th.

In the first minute of first half stoppage time, Leonardo Caetano Silva finished low after a headed pass from Kevin Viveros to break the deadlock. Viveros then doubled the lead from close range (60.), taking his tally to 12 and sitting second in the Brasileirão scoring chart.
