Atletico Madrid are back in the hunt for Liverpool star Andy Robertson, per the Daily Record.
Robertson has been a faithful servant for the Reds over the last nine years. He has made 376 senior appearances, bagging 14 goals and 69 assists.
However, the Scotland international has already confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Atletico were keen to sign the experienced left-back last summer, but a transfer didn’t materialise.
They have since revived their interest and could initiate a move to sign the Liverpool ace on a free transfer.
Diego Simeone’s side are fourth in La Liga, 10 points ahead of fifth-placed Real Betis.
Atletico sealed a place in the Champions League semi-final after a 3-2 aggregate win against Barcelona in the previous round.
Tottenham Hotspur have also set their sights on Robertson.
They tried to sign the 32-year-old in the winter transfer window, but he decided against the move.
A move could be in jeopardy, as Tottenham are in danger of being relegated to the Championship.
The Lilywhites secured a much-needed 1-0 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
They are still in the relegation zone, with 17th-placed West Ham United managing to retain their two-point gap by winning Saturday’s fixture against Everton.
