Supporters of La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have on Tuesday come together to take firm aim at the club’s head coach.

This comes after the Rojiblancos were put to the sword in nothing short of embarrassing fashion.

Atlético marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to north London for a Champions League showdown with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

And when all was said and done, the evening’s visitors were brought crashing back down to earth with a thud.

Fresh off four wins and a draw from their last five outings across all competitions, Atléti were utterly dominated en route to a 4-0 defeat.

And as alluded to above, the finger of blame for as much has since been pointed squarely in one direction by fans of the Spanish outfit.

Adamant that their long-time manager was shown up on every level by Mikel Arteta, many of an Atlético persuasion have gone as far as to call for Diego Simeone to be sacked:
