Flamengo’s 2-0 win over Cruzeiro at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro drew the biggest crowd of the Campeonato Brasileiro’s fifth round, with more than 47,000 in attendance and gate receipts of R$ 3.1 million.
According to Globo.com, both figures were the highest of the midweek round.
The lowest attendance came in Mirassol’s 2-2 draw with Santos at the Maião, where only about 8,100 watched on. The smallest revenue was R$ 454,203 for Atlético-MG’s 1-0 win over Internacional at the Arena MRV.
Across the round, paying attendances ranged from 8,134 to 44,804, and total crowds from 8,152 to 47,214.
Reported gate receipts varied between R$ 454,203 and R$ 3,107,105. Two fixtures did not disclose paying attendance, and one of those also withheld total attendance and revenue.
For the other matches, organisers published both paying and total gate figures alongside matchday revenue.
