Audi has provided FC Bayern with new vehicles for the season. The players were able to choose from a wide range of fully electric and hybrid models. In addition to the vehicle handover, the stars enjoyed an action-packed day at the Audi driving experience and gained exclusive insights into the pioneering Audi F1 Project. Around 100 Audi employees had the opportunity to meet the players in person and hand over the keys themselves.
The FC Bayern players visited Neuburg an der Donau to take delivery of their new company cars for 2025/26. Captain Manuel Neuer and some other teammates opted for the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e, while Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise preferred the all-electric RS e-tron GT performance. Youngster Tom Bischof chose the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron, while Joshua Kimmich – a father of four – opted for the spacious seven-seater Audi Q7 SUV S line TFSI e.
The FC Bayern players visited Neuburg an der Donau on Wednesday to take delivery of their new Audi company cars for this season.
“The Bayern players chose vehicles that impressively reflect our diversity in electric mobility and performance – from the compact Q4 e-tron to the powerful Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e quattro and the sporty RS e-tron GT performance. There was a suitable model for everyone,” said Marco Schubert, member of the board of management for sales and marketing at AUDI AG. For FC Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, the players' visit to Audi is an integral part of the FCB calendar. “The handover of vehicles from Audi to FC Bayern is a long-standing tradition that reflects our reliable partnership and is always something special for our players. After 23 successful years together, we continue to pursue the same ambitious goals and spur each other on to peak performance. That's what connects us on and off the pitch. In this day and age, such a long-standing partnership is not commonplace, and we all appreciate it very much.”
After receiving their vehicles, the players were able to demonstrate their driving skills on the dynamic surface and handling course of the Audi driving experience. The Audi RS e-tron GT provided excitement and adrenaline. Schubert was impressed: “It's great to see how enthusiastically the players are driving our spearhead of electric mobility. It shows how emotional electric mobility can already be today.”

Another highlight was the exclusive look behind the scenes of the Audi F1 Project. The players visited the assembly workshop for the V6 hybrid engines, the dynamic simulator, the Mission Control Room and the engine test benches. There, where the central components of the future Formula 1 powertrain are created – figuratively speaking, the ‘heart’ of a racing car – they gained insights into the complex technology.
The day in Neuburg was also a special experience for 100 Audi employees. They won the grand prize in an internal competition and got to meet the stars from Munich. In addition to autographs and selfies, 16 of them had the pleasure of personally handing over the car keys to the players.
