Auxerre hold Nantes as VAR rules out penalty in relegation fight | OneFootball

Auxerre 0-0 Nantes at Stade de l'Abbé Deschamps keeps the hosts 16th in the relegation play-off spot and the visitors 17th in Ligue 1.

In the seventh minute, Deiver Machado's strike from distance was saved by Donovan Leon as Les Canaris began on the front foot.

Dehmaine Tabibou forced another stop from Leon (43.), before Igniatius Kpene Ganago's header was gathered soon after the restart (49.). VAR then decided there was no penalty for Auxerre (65.).

Christophe Pélissier introduced Sekou Mara (67.) and Naouirou Ahamada (77.) to chase a winner, with Mara dragging a chance wide from a Lassine Sinayoko pass (69.).
