Axel Tuanzebe suing Man Utd for 'clinical negligence'

Burnley defender Axel Tuanzebe is suing former club Manchester United for 'clinical negligence' according to reports.

Journalist Ben Rumsby of Telegraph Sport is reporting that the case is based on 'medical advice' given to the player by the club.

Tuanzebe came through the academy at United and broke through to the first team but his progress was halted by recurring injury issues, which has now led to a legal claim in the High Court.

The defender left United for Ipswich in 2023 and has since featured in 44 games for the club before signing for Burnley ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Last season, Tuanzebe featured in 23 games in total, the most for the player in a single season since his loan stint at Aston Villa in the 2018/19 campaign.
