Barcelona have confirmed that Andreas Christensen has suffered a fresh injury blow.
Christensen twisted his left knee in a training session on the eve of Sunday's LaLiga trip to Villarreal which has now been revealed to be an anterior cruciate ligament tear.

Reports in Catalonia suggest that the Blaugrana will be without the Denmark international for up to four months despite not requiring corrective surgery.
Christensen only returned for Hansi Flick's side in November after shaking a calf problem, which was the latest in a series of injury woes since his arrival in 2022.
