As has already been reported, FC Barcelona plan on signing a top-level left-winger in the summer transfer window of 2025.
The names of Nico Williams and Rafael Leao feature high on the Blaugrana’s wishlist for the position, with both players having a lot of admirers at the club.
However, it now appears that another winger from Serie A, apart from Leao, is also attracting strong interest from the La Liga leaders.
Indeed, as per Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t SPORT), Barcelona are interested in Napoli speedster Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and have even contacted his entourage to explore the possibility of a transfer in June 2025.

The 23-year-old Georgian international has a contract with Napoli that runs until the summer of 2027 and has a mammoth €130 million release clause – which the player has been trying to lower to €80 million.
However, Napoli have been trying to extend his contract and have been in talks, although a renewal does not seem to be any closer at this point.
An exit will be difficult but what could work in Barcelona’s favour is that Kvaratskhelia, fondly called as ‘Kvaradona’ by the Napoli faithful, would be delighted to make the switch to Catalonia as per the report.
Indeed, the Georgian sees a potential switch to Barça as a great opportunity for him to win major titles.
It remains to be seen if there is any progress beyond the initial contacts as Barcelona look to strengthen the left side of their attack before next season.
