Barcelona are eyeing another loan deal for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
The talented forward joined the La Liga giants on loan last summer after falling out of favour with former United manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford has been impressive for Barcelona, bagging 10 goals and 13 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.
Barcelona can trigger his £26 million buy-out clause this summer, but it appears they haven’t made up their minds yet.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana are considering another loan deal for the English footballer instead of paying £26m.
However, United’s stance remains that there will be no haggling over Rashford.
The Red Devils are unwilling to let the 28-year-old go easily, especially considering he is contracted with the club until 2028.
Rashford is a gifted player who is highly rated for his pace, dribbling skills and finishing ability.
He has scored 138 goals in 426 senior appearances for United after rising through the club’s academy ranks.
Rashford endured a difficult time under Amorim, struggling for form and game time.
Amorim is no longer in charge, but the forward has made it clear that he doesn’t want to return to Old Trafford.
The England international is reportedly happy at Barcelona and wants to extend his stay.
Rashford started on the bench in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the Champions League, but he came on as a second-half substitute.
He will be pushing to start the return leg at Camp Nou next week.
