Droves of Barcelona fans have taken to social media on Wednesday evening, to make clear their frustrations with one player.

The individual in question? Ronald Araújo.

Barcelona are of course locked in action at present, in a Champions League showdown with Europa League holders Atalanta.

As things stand, the two sides find themselves deadlocked, at two goals apiece.

As much comes after the Blaugrana twice surrendered the advantage, goals on the part of Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araújo having been cancelled out by Ederson and Mario Pašalić.

And, amid their side’s collapse, widespread fans of Hansi Flick’s side have directed their frustrations squarely at one member of the club’s backline.

Fuming with the woes of their side’s defensive stalwart, the Barcelona faithful have come together to slam the returning Ronald Araújo.

This comes chiefly owing to the Uruguayan’s struggles in deploying Hansi Flick’s trademark offside trap, a real source of concern for the Catalans moving forward.
