A head-turning statistic, reiterating the excellence of Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad across the La Liga season to date, has on Friday come to the fore.
This comes after Robert Lewandowski was rewarded for his excellence over the course of October.
The Polish international took to the pitch on three occasions in Spain’s top-flight last month, and rattled off a remarkable seven goals along the way.
Lewandowski, in turn, was officially crowned La Liga Player of the Month for October on Friday evening.
And as much, as alluded to above, has since given rise to a head-turning statistic.
Barcelona, remarkably, are the only club to have been represented in the winners list for La Liga Player of the Month in 2024/25.
First, back in August, the prize was won by wide-man Raphinha. Then, in September, youngster Lamine Yamal was named Spanish football’s best.
And, on Friday, attacking partner-in-crime Lewandowski joined the fray, making it a clean sweep for the table-topping Blaugrana this season to date:
