The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona have struck an agreement over the terms of a contract with Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday provided an insight into the situation.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course proven a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several weeks now.
As much comes amid the understanding that the England international has been identified as a potential January signing by Barcelona.
Available on loan this month, Rashford is seen as a viable option to reinforce the left flank in Hansi Flick’s squad.
And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then a move coming to fruition before the month is out is beginning to look increasingly likely.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of Sport that:
‘Barcelona have reached an agreement with the English striker to join Hansi Flick’s team on loan until June 30.’
Not only that, but Rashford himself has given his word to wait until the final days of the window, to ensure that his Camp Nou switch goes through.
It is now up to Deco and co. to free up the necessary space on the Blaugrana’s wage bill to incorporate the 27-year-old.
