Barcelona lost key attacking midfielder Dani Olmo to an injury last night during their 3-0 win over CA Osasuna at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
The 26-year-old Spanish international has had a difficult season because of injuries and registration woes, with this being the third occasion that he has been sidelined due to a physical problem.
As confirmed by the club earlier today, Olmo has suffered a right adductor injury and will be out for around three weeks.
According to Toni Juanmarti, Barcelona hope to have Dani Olmo back in time for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund on April 15.
The summer signing’s three-week period for recovery means that it will be touch-and-go and as such, it might be difficult for the Blaugrana but the Catalans are hoping against hope.

What it means is that Olmo will certainly miss the first leg of the quarter-final tie against the Bundesliga heavyweights, set to be played at home on April 9.
Along with that, the former RB Leipzig man will also be unavailable for the La Liga games against Girona, Real Betis, and Leganes as well as the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg vs. Atletico Madrid.
Having returned to Barcelona a decade after leaving La Masia, Olmo has made 28 appearances in all competitions, racking up eight goals and five assists.
However, his recurring muscle problems are likely to cause some concern within the club as they enter the final phase of the season.
