Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro has caught the eye of Barcelona at the World Cup, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Spurs handed the defender a new deal before the World Cup and are not looking to lose him anytime soon.
Porro has made five appearances at the tournament, scoring twice. Barca president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco have been impressed by his performances.
The 26-year-old played once during the group stage but has featured from the round of 32 onwards, and the La Liga champions have been watching.
However, they have no concrete plans to make any move for the Tottenham defender.
Porro has established a strong understanding with Lamine Yamal on the right side of Spain’s attack, and it is clear why Barca want to sign him.
They currently have Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Xavi Espart and Hector Fort as options at right-back and are looking to strengthen in other positions.
Spurs will hope clubs do not come for Porro this summer, as he is a big part of manager Roberto De Zerbi’s plans,
His former deal expired in 2028, but he has now signed a new deal until 2031 with an option for another year.
The right-back has made 152 appearances since joining Tottenham from Sporting CP in 2023, weighing in with 13 goals and 26 assists.
