This is clear from a report from Mundo Deportivo, which claims that the Manchester City defender Nathan Ake is now also a defender on Barcelona’s agenda, and its report cites the journalist Ekrem Konur to claim that the Blaugranes are seriously considering getting him on loan or with the option to buy at the end of the season.

Nathan Ake is not enjoying a lot of prominence under Pep Guardiola at City, which can push him to look for a new club in January, especially with the World Cup coming, and he can prove to be a valuable addition to this Barcelona squad, mainly because of his versatility and experience. For now, it remains to be seen whether he would be the chosen player to reinforce the Blaugrana defense this winter.
