PSG staged a dramatic 2-1 come-from-behind win over FC Barcelona earlier this month at Montjuïc Stadium. The home side struck first in the 19th minute when Ferran Torres scored to hand Barcelona an early lead and control of the match.
Luis Enrique’s team answered before halftime, with Senny Mayulu calmly slotting in a pass from Nuno Mendes in the 38th minute to even the score and quiet the crowd.
Both teams battled intensely after the break, creating a tense and balanced second half that looked headed for a draw. But in stoppage time, Gonçalo Ramos converted an assist from Achraf Hakimi in the 90th minute, completing PSG’s comeback and securing all three points.

It’s been a few days since that defeat to start the month of October, and it’s still on the Barcelona players’ minds, like Eric García, considering the Parisians exposed a weakness in their tactical system that other opponents could use if they want to beat Hansi Flick and his team.
“When PSG controlled possession, we couldn’t find our rhythm,” García said. “Now teams are studying our defensive line, so we’re working to be more aggressive and create danger when we win the ball back.”
Furthermore, Mundo Deportivo recently reported that Flick and his staff concluded that the losses against Sevilla and PSG were due to defensive miscoordination and the players’ inability to understand the tactical decisions taken on the spot.
