Barcelona star in injury scare on international duty | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Thursday been dealt a potential blow on the personnel front.

This comes owing to developments in the highly anticipated international friendly meeting between France and Brazil.

On the Barcelona side of things, Raphinha featured from the off in the matchup, in a star-studded Brazilian frontline under the watch of Carlo Ancelotti.

The former Leeds United man, however, failed to emerge from the dressing room for the 2nd-half.

And according to TNT Sports, as much comes owing to an injury complaint:

‘Raphinha was substituted at halftime in the match against France complaining of muscle pain in his right thigh.’

It now remains to be seen if the explosive winger is facing up to any kind of significant spell on the sidelines.

Raphinha will likely be put through a round of medical scans and tests over the days ahead, the results of which will determine the plan of action.
