A head-turning statistic surrounding the recent production of Barcelona star Ferran Torres in front of goal has come to the fore online.

This comes amid confirmation that the Spanish international is currently keeping pace with some of the continent’s standout goalscorers when it comes to per-90 averages.

Frontman Ferran is of course fresh off another starring individual performance this past weekend.

Restored to starting duties for Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Real Betis, the former Manchester City man responded with a fine hat-trick.

This means that Ferran, despite not being a guaranteed starter, has now racked up 11 goals in 15 league appearances this season.

And as alluded to above, such exploits have proven enough to position the 25-year-old in a rather exclusive club.

As per statisticians StatMuse on X, Ferran is averaging 1.06 goals per 90 in league play in 2025/26.

This places the versatile attacker just a fraction off the pace being set by the likes of Erling Haaland (1.05) and Kylian Mbappé (1.03).
